* The refuge of the tree is cool.

* ပ်ားပိတုန္းတို႕သည္ ပန္းကို အလိုရွိကုန္၏။

* ယင္ေကာင္တို႕သည္ အပုပ္ကို အလိုရွိကုန္၏။
* သူယုတ္တို႕သည္ အမ်က္ေဒါသကို အလိုရွိကုန္၏။


* Bees want flowers.
* The virtuous want virtue.
* Flies want the putrid.
* The wicked want anger.


* အမိအဘတို႕၏ အဆံုးအမကို မရမူ ကိုႏႈတ္အမူအရာ ၾကမ္းတမ္း၏။
* အမိအဘတို႕၏ အဆံုးအမကို ေကာင္းစြာရမူ ကိုယ္ႏႈတ္ အမူအရာ လိမၼာယဥ္ေက်း၏။


* Deprives of parental teachings, one tends to be harsh in words and deeds.
* Benefited by parental teachings one is gentle in words and deeds.


* အမ်က္ေဒါသကို ေျဖေဖ်ာက္ႏိုင္လွ်င္ စိုးရိမ္ျခင္း ကင္းရ၏။
* သူ႕ေက်းဇူးကို ဆိုတတ္လွ်င္ သူေတာ္ေကာင္းတို႕ ခ်ီးမြမ္းကုန္၏။
* ၾကမ္းၾကဳတ္ေသာ စကားကို သည္းခံျခင္းသည္ ျမတ္၏။


* Dissolving anger frees one from worry.
* Expressing one's gratitude is praised by the virtuous.
